About MI-ZA
Rethinking how healthcare and the new industries around it should work, and putting the answers into action.
About Us
Who we are
Japan's population is aging fast, and more and more people want to spend their final years in the place they call home. What makes that possible is the people who work in medical and long-term care.
When I worked as an administrator at a home-based medical care clinic, clinic directors often came up to me at training events around the country. "We're looking for an administrator. What kind of background should we look for?" "I want someone close by I can talk to about anything." I wanted to help directors beyond a single clinic, so in 2018 I started MI-ZA on my own. In January 2026 we became a stock company. Today I run MI-ZA together with Director Hidetoshi Ishizuka, who is also a working clinic administrator, and we support medical institutions and healthcare companies.
Behind most management problems, there is a human story. Staff leave, and leaders hesitate over decisions, for reasons that numbers alone cannot explain. MI-ZA takes those reasons into account and then builds the case for each decision with data. We also study how data and AI can be used in home-based medical care. We want to work with clinics and companies to build a way of managing that respects experience and intuition, and backs decisions with data.

Our team
For a home-based medical care clinic to change, it needs two things: plans that reflect how the work really gets done, and the resolve to change what has to change.
